A Few Products at Escanaba Polo Mallet Good Works Start-Up Co.

We have a selection of product pages you may find interesting.

We are a “good works” company, founded on the idea that it’s possible to launch a startup with less than $500. That principle has guided our ongoing work and has helped us better understand how lean, purpose-driven businesses can take shape.

Whenever possible, our products are locally sourced, and we aim to ensure quality while supporting nearby makers and suppliers. A core part of our mission is giving back: we donate at least 50% of profits to charitable causes.

For purchases made through eBay, 10% of the sale price is directed to charity, with additional donations provided beyond that.

Many of our items are handmade and produced in small batches, with an emphasis on craftsmanship and preserving traditional skills.

Lakeside Polo Club Hosts the Margarita Cup

Margarita Cup was played May 9th, 2026 at Lakeside Polo Club in Lakeside, California, near San Diego. It was a great event and a reminder of how much the club has grown over the years. The food, vibe, and tacos were delicious (Actually the tacos had a deep smokey flavor. 🌮)

The club offers training for those interested in learning how to play polo, hosts regular matches, and has built a strong and welcoming community of players and supporters. The facilities are impressive, featuring both grass and arena fields, along with stables and plenty of friendly, helpful people who make newcomers feel welcome.

If you have the chance to attend one of their events, it is well worth the visit. I included a link in case you would like to explore their webpage and learn more. Come out and play a few chukkers.
