Research Shows Horses May be Smarter Than You Think! stop-signal paradigm (Research)

Some of us may think horses are not particularly that smart but research has found that both positive and negative reinforcement error reductions in stop-signal paradigm may reduce errors indicating a higher order, executive function in horses. It was prior believed that horses only had moderate intelligence, but that belief is changing.

One may draw from this study that positive, negative and a variety of methods may help a horse learn better.
