Escanaba Polo Mallet Company Encourages Customer Satisfaction Through Easy Product Returns

Polo players are often particular and want specific features on a mallet. Mallets are not cheap so excellence is requested! Sometimes customers are not happy with a product and desire to make a return. Some companies return these product right away without questions while others may haggle with the customer. While any business should be aware of misuse of an open return policy we at Escanaba Polo Mallet Company work hard to return products promptly and without customer hassle.

Situation: The customer ordered the product and had a number of expectations when ordering that were not inherent within the product listing. I cannot tell whether or not the person was a beginning polo player or a seasoned player but she was particular. It did appear that she had a perception that the mallet would be identical to the ones that are sold for $200.

Our practice mallet retails currently for around $70 and focused on those who are seeking to practice the game. The mallets can be used in more professional game play but that isn't their target market. Knowing your target market will help in creating greater focus on advertisements and products. Here are some of the differences:

Professional Mallet: We will have a new professional line coming out for $150 where the high polish, perfect straight bamboo poles, and wonderfully made cigar heads.

Practice Mallet: A high quality mallet for around $70 that may not have a perfectly straight bamboo pole and a custom traditional tube type head.

Sometimes customers want specific requirements but purchase the cheaper model with the wrong expectations in mind. When this happens it is important to return the product promptly to raise customer service. In this case, we let her keep the mallet as a good faith gesture because we believe in our products and returned her money. This isn't something we would normally do for everyone (we expect the mallet back) but we wanted her to understand we are a kind company that seeks to do the right thing.

However, we also learned from this situation and are going to update our listing to be sure that customers understand through updated listings that these are practice mallets and not professional mallets with perfectly polished heads and super straight bamboo shafts. Our practice mallets are considered very high quality and have received excellent reviews (100%). Our focus is polo clubs that want multiple affordable mallets and people who want mallets for practice but don't want to pay $200. They are also great for professional game play but that would be more of our future professional mallet line.

Escanaba Polo Mallet Company Donates Some of its Profits to Orphans

I've done a little work for these kids and try to help this organization as much as possible. Escanaba Polo Mallet Company provides a percentage of the money directly to these children for each mallet made. Having corporate sponsorship and encouraging others to do the same can make a big difference in their success. Creating higher levels of awareness of the plight of children is important for changing our world. If we can't do it for them...who are we doing it for?

Corozon De Vida does a great job working on raising these kids and funding orphanages in Mexico. It is important to remember that there is no funding for orphanages from the government so it is left to churches, private donors, and non profit organizations. Some orphanages have nothing and some have much more.

Chewy Getting a Walk
The organization does more than create commitment to these kids they create a sense of family and also try and send them to college after. The orphanage becomes their home. Spending sometime in a Catholic boarding school and from a difficult early childhood where love was almost always in short supply I can say that I understand these kids and want to to much more to help them in the future. That also includes others kids within the U.S. that have opportunities to truly grow and develop their talents.

HERE is the site for monthly donations or one time donations.

How to Create Your Own Product Pictures with White Background for Amazon and Ebay

Marketspaces and e-commerce have taken over much of the selling world. If you are not online you are likely missing out on a lot of potential revenue. A problem small manufacturers and businesses face is that they don't know how to create a white backdrop for product pictures. Amazon requires a white background and Ebay prefers them because of their quality and ease of understanding.

You don't need to pay someone as you can make your own!

I use the Paint program that comes with almost all computers. One can also go online and find some free photo editors web base software. Gimp is great and offers lots of different options but may take a few minutes to learn.

Here are a few steps that will help you....

-Photo Editor: I first used the basic phone editor such as Google Photos to adjust color, light, and pop so the product stood out against the back ground.
Stage 1: Photo Editor
Adjust color, pop, and light before downloading

-Download and Open in Microsoft Paint: Most computers have a paint editor function that lets you edit and pictures.

Stage 2: Zoom
Zoom in erase a border.
-Zoom in Erase around Your Product: Zoom in and erase around your product. Zoom back out to get a nice perspective.

Stage 3: Clean up
Clean up your background
-Make Your Background White. They won't be accepted by many of the markespaces unless they are. You may also want to change them to 1000+ pixels so they can be zoomed in.

Stage 4: Add Content
Dimensions and Logo

-Logo and Dimensions: Add the logo and dimensions that will help your customers understand the product and its specifications.

Hit A Homerun with Gen-Z Marketing Channel!

You think you are going to hit a home run with your product! You got the latest, coolest, most awesome hot product and you can’t reach that elusive Gen-Z that seems to navigate the Internet with nothing more than the wisp of their finger! It isn’t the easiest or most predictable demographic today but could be a very profitable one if you do things right! You better learn to communicate with them in the channels they frequent, or your games will be 0 and 0! Having the right product is a lot like showing up with your glove and ball because if you don’t know how to reach your fans you’re just a dirt post on the field!

You should remember a couple of things before tossing your hat onto the Gen-Z field. Such hopeful youth values experience over products and are more focused on saving money than any of the “old timer” generations before. You keep these in mind, and it’ll come in handy as you roll around marketing solutions in your head. Determining which channel to place your advertisement so it finds a well spring of vibrant young consumers isn’t that difficult. Most teens may keep an account on Facebook but tend to flock to Instagram and snapchat. Ok…maybe not all but the young “hipsters” do!

About that whole experience mumbo jumbo, I been talking about. What I mean is you should market the experience your product creates and not so much actual product. For example, you’re not selling baseball caps, but the memories and feelings associated with baseball and the team. Instead of making the advertisement about your product, market the entire game of baseball. Let your customers almost smell the brats, hear the crack of the ball, and listen to the cheering fans when they buy your product!  In other words, you’re not selling a baseball bat but the crack of the bat and the positive memories and feelings coming from hitting a home run (marketing or otherwise!
